The problem
Detectorists around the bay needed a public home: a way to join, a path for people who lost something, and a tone that feels like a club instead of a forum.
What we made
- A community site for the Bay Area Metal Detecting Association
- Free membership and a clear path into the Facebook group
- Lost-item recovery for people who need a detectorist nearby
- A living home for stories, ethics, and meetings around the bay
