The problem

Metal detecting is hard to explain and easy to romanticize. We wanted a game that teaches the feel of a sweep — audio, pinpointing, false signals, and a clock that does not care how much you like the hobby.

What we made

A browser game with keyboard, swipe, and on-screen controls
Detector audio as the primary interface, not decoration
A tide timer, recoveries, beach-cleanup scoring, and public leaderboards
A living product on games.geekybeach.com, not a pitch-deck prototype
